Children's Museum of the Lowcountry

The Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry (CML), founded in 2003, is a nonprofit located in downtown Charleston that serves as an interactive space for children ages birth- 10 to play and learn. The space is designed with South Carolina in mind, meaning they incorporate local history and landscapes into many of the activities.

Beyond that, CML offers free monthly programs that provide children in the Lowcountry with access to valuable opportunities like sparking creativity and exploration, increasing socialization and developing an understanding of topics such as science, the environment and art. CML also partners with local organizations to create programs that help the community with things like combating childhood obesity, teaching teenage mothers important parenting skills and providing children from low-income families with the chance to recognize their strengths.

As part of our TastemakersCHS Charity Partnership Program, $1 from every Shakkar Kandi Chaat and Aloo Tikki Roll sold at Malika Canteen between Oct. 7-Nov. 7 will go to the museum!
