Crush Yard

Our crew got together for something a little different recently at Crush Yard, Mount Pleasant’s new pickleball club and restaurant (don’t worry, there was still plenty of food)!

There’s no sport hotter than pickleball right now, so Crush Yard is just what Charleston needed and their indoor courts are perfect for the dropping temperatures this winter. Our group donned our best activewear and showed up ready to hit the courts, but not before sampling Crush Yard’s delicious food and huge selection of drinks. Our snack spread included:

  • Drop Spin Shrimp

  • Northeastern Crabby Fries

  • Pawley’s Island SC Made Pretzel Bites, served with Holy City Pilsner beer cheese

  • Loaded Sweet Potato Waffle Fries

  • Fried Brussels Sprouts

Grabbing a drink at Crush Yard is an experience in itself, with their self-serve wall of over 30 local and domestic beers, wine and cocktails on tap. We had a great time sampling and pouring different delicious beverages by the ounce.

Once we were fueled up and full of energy from snacking, we hit the court for a few lively rounds of pickleball! Our group ranged from newbies to seasoned players, and there truly was room for everyone’s skill level at Crush Yard.

Our nonprofit donation item this month was the Pawley’s Island Pretzel Bites, with $1 from each order going to our Q3 partner The Parkinson’s Foundation Carolinas Chapter, serving the 36,000+ people living with Parkinson’s in the Carolinas by funding research grants, improving patient care and offering educational programs.
