Bohemian Bull - Mt. Pleasant

True to its name, Bohemian Bull is all about the “B”s, beer, bourbon and burgers. Not to worry if those aren’t your thing, though, as there’s something for everyone at this neighborhood eatery. The restaurant’s first location on James Island has long been a favorite of diners of all ages, so we were excited to check out their new Mt. Pleasant spot!

The atmosphere inside the restaurant is relaxed and friendly, making it the perfect setting to catch up with old friends (and make new ones) over unique cocktails like the Mango Habanero Margarita made with plenty of heat, the pastel purple Butterfly Key Lime Margarita and the Froze of the month, the rum-forward Milly Vanilly.

Next, the appetizers hit the table with gusto. We sampled the fiery Boom Boom Shrimp, Macho Nachos topped with tender grilled steak, Fried Green Tomatoes (we love a southern staple), and jalapeño popper-style Popper Deviled Eggs, all generously portioned and perfect for sharing amongst a group.

We also got to try the Giant Burrito, which was served smothered in beer cheese, and the Gettin’ Smash Burger: double patties topped with classic American cheese, pickles, onion and house made burger sauce.

One of our favorite dishes, the Brussels Sprouts, also happens to be our nonprofit donation item for the month of September. The sprouts are fried to crispy perfection and plated on top of whipped feta cheese, topped with spicy Thai chili sauce and parmesan cheese.

In Q3 we’re proud to partner with The Parkinson's Foundation Carolinas Chapter, which serves the 36,000+ people living with Parkinson’s in NC and SC by funding research grants, improving patient care and offering educational programs. In addition to donating $1 from each Brussels Sprouts sold this month, Bohemian Bull is also giving their guests the option to round their bill up to send some extra funds to the Parkinson's Foundation for the month of September.
