Typically, our meetups take place at restaurants, but this summer, we had the exclusive opportunity to get a first look at a space that will soon be home to some of Charleston’s newest dining destinations. Magnolia Landing, a stunning 192-acre mixed-use waterfront development, is set to become Charleston’s largest sustainable restoration project in over a century. While construction is still in the early stages, the vision for the space is already breathtaking.

Stepping out onto the terrace, we were greeted by sweeping views of the Ashley River. It was easy to imagine the waterfront alive with restaurants and gathering spots, all framed by Charleston’s signature charm.

Our morning began with a yoga class led by Reagan Sobel Yoga, where the serene river views created the perfect backdrop for mindful movement. Afterward, we refueled with boiled-from-scratch bagels and inventive whipped spreads from Jeff’s Bagel Run, paired with a mimosa bar featuring crisp Organic Contempo Prosecco from Boutique Beverage Company and an assortment of fresh juices. It was a refreshing and relaxing way to experience the space's potential.

From August 10 through September 10, Magnolia Landing will donate $5 to Charleston Waterkeeper for every sign-up to their Weekly Water Quality Alerts, supporting the preservation of Charleston’s waterways and the environment that makes this development so special.
